Custom Shopify Apps
Built to Last
When the App Store doesn't have what you need, we build it. Using Shopify's official Remix framework, Polaris UI, and all the APIs your workflow demands — no shortcuts.
Why Businesses Need Custom Shopify Apps
The App Store Doesn't Fit
Public apps solve generic problems. Your inventory sync, custom pricing logic, or B2B workflow has edge cases that no off-the-shelf app handles correctly.
Manual Work at Scale
Your team spends hours every week on tasks that should be automated. As volume grows, manual processes become a ceiling on how fast you can scale.
Private Apps Are Deprecated
Shopify ended private apps. Legacy integrations using the old private app system need to be migrated to OAuth-based custom apps before they break.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between a public app and a custom app?
A custom app is installed on a single Shopify store and doesn't go through app review — faster to build and deploy, ideal for internal tools. A public app can be distributed to multiple stores (and listed in the App Store) but requires Shopify's review process. We build both.
Can you migrate us from a deprecated private app?
Yes. Shopify deprecated private apps and requires all new integrations to use OAuth-based custom or public apps. We handle the migration path, including re-implementing any API scopes and re-establishing webhooks through the new authentication flow.
Do you build the storefront too or just the admin app?
Both, depending on scope. Admin apps (embedded in Shopify Admin using App Bridge) are the most common. We also build Storefront API integrations for headless commerce use cases, and custom theme extensions using Shopify's Theme App Extensions.
What technology stack do you use for Shopify apps?
We use Shopify's officially recommended stack: Shopify CLI 3.x, Remix (React framework), Prisma for database, and the Polaris design system for the admin UI. This ensures apps pass Shopify's requirements if you later want to list them publicly.
How long does a Shopify app take to build?
Simple internal tools (custom order tagging, inventory sync) can be delivered in 2–4 weeks. More complex apps with billing, multi-tenant architecture, or significant custom UI take 6–12 weeks. We scope this precisely during discovery.
